1. Cancellation before activation
A customer may request cancellation within seven calendar days of purchase, provided the licence has not been activated on any computer. If a key has been issued but remains unused, it may be revoked before the cancellation is approved. No cancellation fee is deducted from an eligible cancellation.
2. Cancellation after activation
A licence is activated when it is successfully registered and hardware-bound to a computer. Once activated, an order cannot ordinarily be cancelled because access to the digital product has been supplied. This does not limit refunds for defective software, incorrect delivery, duplicate payments or rights available under applicable law.
3. Licence terms and renewals
Fixed-duration licences expire automatically on their stated expiry date. PrathamDesk licences are not automatically renewed and no recurring amount is debited; renewal requires a separate customer-approved payment.
4. Eligible refunds
A full or appropriate partial refund may be approved when:
- The same order was charged more than once.
- Payment completed but no usable licence was supplied.
- PRATHAM ENTERPRISES cancels the order or cannot provide the purchased licence.
- The wrong product or plan was supplied.
- The software is materially different from its published description.
- A licence cannot activate on a supported system because of a verified PrathamDesk fault and the problem cannot be resolved within five business days after receiving the required diagnostic information.
- A refund is required under applicable law.
5. Situations that are ordinarily non-refundable
- A change of mind after successful activation.
- An activated licence that operates substantially as described.
- Failure to meet system requirements disclosed before purchase.
- Problems caused by unsupported systems, unauthorised modifications, damaged hardware, malware or incompatible third-party software after reasonable investigation.
- Unused time remaining on a fixed-duration licence.
- Failure to follow the device-transfer procedure after changing a computer.
These exclusions do not override rights provided by applicable law.
6. How to request a cancellation or refund
Email rarahulaahuja@gmail.com or call +91 70000 35339. Include the customer name, registered email, Cashfree order ID, product and plan, payment date and reason. Include an activation-error screenshot where relevant.
Requests will be acknowledged within 48 hours. Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method. After initiation, the payment gateway or bank may take approximately 5–10 working days to credit the amount.
7. Device transfers
Changing a computer is a device-transfer request rather than a cancellation. An approved transfer keeps the original plan and expiry date.
